Recycling and Wasting
The girl at work was emptying the trash cans.This is in an office so most of the trash is papers. This small can had,literally 2 pieces of paper in it.Instead of just dumping it out and leaving the perfectly clean,truly unused plasic liner in the can she takes the bag and all and dumps it in the large plastic bag she’s using to collect the trash.Then replaces the one she threw away.
I DON”T GET IT!!!!! WHY!!!!!
I know for a fact there is no “rule” that forces her to do this.And I don’t think it’s laziness since it actually creates more expenditure of energy for her.
So I asked her “why?”.
Her response: “That’s just the way we do it.
When I said “Is’nt that kind of wasteful?” She said “No big deal,the company buys these by the 1000’s,they’re really cheap”
Wow,talk about being on totally different wave lengths.
